LINOLEUM THEATER

December 10, 2022 through February 2, 2022

Zoom based Opening Reception: Saturday, December 10, 5 - 7 PM PST

Zoomlinks are sent on the day of the opening between noon and 1pm. You should send your request before that time.
Our next featured exhibition will be "Linoleum Theater", a series of linocuts on fine paper by David C. Kane. These small fine prints display a rich cast of characters, and are full of psychodrama. They weave a tale with many convoluted plot twists, a shockingly ambiguous denouement, and a heart-stopping climax that will leave them, if not you, hanging.

David C. Kane earned a B.F.A. in painting at the University of Washington. He has received awards from the King County Arts Commission, the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, and Artist Trust, and has taught painting and drawing at Cornish College of the Arts and the School of Visual Concepts. Kane draws source material from the histories of modern art, including Cubism, Surrealism, Futurism, and Socialist Realism. Other visual influences include film, particularly science fiction and film noir, popular culture, and the artist’s own restless imagination.

Please join us for the zoom-based Opening Reception on Saturday, December 10, from 5-7 PM PST. Request a zoomlink via the contact form.
